Our commitment to diversity is demonstrated at all levels of the organization. Our senior executive leadership team is nearly half (44%) racial minority and a third (33%) female, which sets the tone for the whole organization. Almost a third (31%) of the ETD workforce is a racial minority, over a quarter (27%) are female, and over five percent are individuals with disabilities.
ETD recruits top engineering students from colleges and universities across the nation, ensuring healthy and diverse intern and early career programs. We strive to reflect the demographics of today’s society and usually surpass most diversity benchmarks for our technical disciplines. ETD has a very active Diversity and Inclusion Committee and many of our employees serve on Goddard’s various Diversity and EEO advisory committees (to learn more – click here) that counsel senior Center management on matters of interest within their communities.
