Precise Spectral and Radiometric Calibration for Earth and Planetary Science Instruments

Goddard Laser for Absolute Measurement of Radiance (GLAMR) is a unique spectral and radiometric calibration facility at GSFC for calibration of hyperspectral instruments in Earth Science and Planetary Science. Traceability to fundamental SI units is maintained with collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

The Goddard Laser for Absolute Measurement of Radiance (GLAMR) Facility is a collaboration between the GSFC Earth Science Division and ETD’s Instrument Systems and Technology Division (ISTD). Contact ISTD for more information.

ABOUT ETD

The Engineering & Technology Directorate at Goddard designs missions, builds satellites and instruments, operates and controls spacecrafts, and acquires/distributes data to the world-wide science community. ETD data products are used to conduct research in Earth and Space Sciences that benefit both the nation and the world.
