Justin Morris

IV&V cFS Lead

As the JSTAR Lead at the Katherine Johnson Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Facility, Justin Morris oversees the development of software digital twins across NASA’s Artemis program, science missions, and small satellite programs. During his18-year tenure with NASA, he has led teams in creating innovative simulation solutions that enhance mission safety and success.

Justin’s team has pioneered numerous software digital twin initiatives, including the NASA Operational Simulator for Small Satellites (NOS3), an open-source simulation platform that supports satellite development and testing.

Justin holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.
