As a Computer Engineer in the Flight Software Systems Branch at Goddard Space Flight Center, Dylan serves as the Deputy PDL for cFS. He also chairs the cFS Community CCB. Dylan has 10 years of experience at NASA working in spacecraft ground and flight software systems, having worked as a software developer, technical lead, and team lead. His previous experience includes Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN) flight software and ground software, Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) tools for engineering and exploration/science, development on the Advanced Spacecraft Integration and System Test (ASIST) telemetry and command system, and development on the Goddard Mission Services Evolution Center (GMSEC) ground software framework. A member of IEEE Eta Kappa Nu, Dylan holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, as well as a Postbaccalaureate certificate in Computing Infrastructure Security, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. His research interests include software architectures, computer networking, cybersecurity, 3D simulation, and IoT.
